Hi! I'm Matt Johnston....this is my myspace music site....thanks for visiting! I'm 24, happily married and live on the central coast of NSW.
I started serving in the worship ministry of my local church close to 10 years ago now. I started playing guitar, then later on i was given the chance to lead the church in worship....which was cool....and now here we are in 2006.
My debut praise and worship album that is out now is called "Freedom Song". This album has come out of a desire to see the Body of Christ (you) connect with your Creator and worship Him.
I believe with all of my heart that we were all created to be in relationship with God, and through the death and rising again of Jesus Christ, a way has been made! This is my God and i live to bring Him praise.
I believe in the local church. I believe that there's power in the church joining together and worshipping their God. People like you and me....united across colour, sex, age, denomination and social status standing together, as one, singing the praises of the King of Kings....this is a glimpse of heaven!
It is this glimpse of heaven....worship....that i believe i am called to stir up in the church. So, what are these songs about? Answer: God and my/your response to Him....in other words....these songs are for the purpose of worship: God receiving the worship from them and you and i giving Him worship through them.
These songs can be used in the multitude of people or in the solitude of one....i don't care! It is my prayer that through these songs and the power of the Holy Spirit that you will taste and see the God of the universe....and know that it He is good....respond in worship....and be stirred to a greater devotion of Him in your everyday life.

hiiii how you going? im getting so excited for stump! my formal is the thursday night before and i finish school forever on wednesday so next week is looking like one of the best weeks of my life lol. plus i will have nice hair whilst camping lol. so hows everything for you? hows the baby going?

it went great i got the job yes thats right I HAV A JOB WOOHOO!!! finally... its about time im full time 830 till 5 5 days a week its pretty full on at the moment but hopefully it will settle down as i get in the swing of things hows things with u??? still loving living in sydney xx
Hey Matty, Craig here... I am heading to Japan in September on Mission with youth alpha as the worship leader.. I would love to use two of your songs as part of that worship... Only one, and freedom song really fit in with the culture of the Japanese youth we are trying to break through.. Is that ok?

its for a graphic design company in parramatta but ill just be the receptionist but they want me to work my way up its a pretty mad company i want the job so fingers crossed. nah she finished yesterday so she is free as a bird well u no how she is always busy but yeah come for dinner! xx

yer man you can sing,we can work out a way to make some sik harmonies i thing what we will so is i (luke) will sing most of our faster stuff and will get u to sing some of the more mellow stuff and a couple of covers...wateva works out (and could u play guitar for a few songs)anyway when have u got a free day in the next week or so??
