"On her latest album, Tammy Trent manages to be simultaneously musically effervescent and lyrically deep. The production is light and breezy, making this an infectious pop collection that will grab the listener by the ears. The dominant theme is hope shining through the darkness, and Trent, who lost her husband in a 2001 scuba accident, delivers it with authority and compassion. "I'm Letting Go" is a poignant song of surrender, while "You've Already Shown Me" serves to remind us that God amply demonstrates his love. But the centerpiece of this collection is the achingly vulnerable ballad "Edge of the Water," penned by Trent and Alisa Childers. This is powerful music from a survivor who continues to move forward with a sweet spirit and a voice filled with unfailing hope and faith." — Deborah Evans Price, Billboard Magazine

Happy New Year to you all! May we all be in the RIGHT place, at the RIGHT time, in 2009! :)
I was just talking with a friend about how fast 2008 has gone and what a feeling it is to say good-bye, in a sense, to another year of your life. I know there's some things I would have done differently and
then there have been some things I wished could last forever. But my
biggest highlight was flying to Australia and sharing my testimony and music with over 300 women and teen girls at a local high school. At the end of our time together, I had them all write down on a piece of paper something that they wanted/needed to let go of in order to move forward in life. Maybe something unsaid, something unforgiven, cutting, addictions, painful divorce and on and on. Then I asked them to bring that paper to the altar, believe in your heart and release it to Jesus. We all ripped up our papers and left them there at the altar while saying, "It is finished". It was powerful with many tears of release and I truly believe it was the beginning of a new year...a new life for many of them. What a complete privilege for me to be used of the Lord in such a way. That was my 2008 highlight".
