Active, Assertive & Alive
The Wide Bay Womens Health Centre runs a program called 'Aware,
Assertive & Alive' which enhances peoples effectiveness in dealing
with lifes difficults situations. Some of the topics covered are:
Keeping others from bullying you, Handling conflict with confidence and
composure, and working with people who can be difficult to get along
with. The program is run in both Maryborough and Hervey Bay and there
is a small cost to cover the materials. If you are interested in this

Aquillas Book Exchange
Aquilla Christian Bookshop is setting up a book exchange in theirstore and they need your books! They are looking for all types of Christian books: novels, theology guides and Bibles. Donated books can be dropped off at their storein the Fraser Shores shopping centre or pick up can be arranged by calling 4194 4464. Once the book exchange is set up, participation will be by gold coin donation.

Andrew Ironside at Bayside Church
Worship
leaders, musicians, sound engineers, songwriters, coaching and
mentoring staff you will not want to miss the opportunity to meet
with Andrew Ironside from the Hillsong Church. Andrew' goal is to
specifically serve, assist and help local churches around the world
train up music teams, so they work within God's annointing and strive
for excellence. Andrew will be at the Bayside Church Saturday the
20th June to Monday the 22nd June, and all of

Bay Community Youth Choir
If your interested in singing or joining a choir then consider the Bay
Community Youth Choir. Kids 13 years and over meet every Tuesday from
5 to 7pm and kids under 12 years meet every Tuesday from 4 to 6pm. If

Breast Cancer Support Group
Are
you a survivor of breast cancer? Would you like to meet other women
for support and friendship? Then you are welcome to go along to The
Community Health Services Conference Room. For more information

Breast Screen Queensland
Breast
Screen Queensland is at the Hervey Bay Hospital. To make an
appointment, call 13 20 50 or 41 502 800. Women under 40 years are
ineligible.
Cancer Support Group
The
Cancer Support group in Maryborough meets at the Neighbourhood
Centre, 25 Ellena Street on 24th of June at 1.30pm. If
you have been recently diagnosed or have been living with cancer for
some time you can find support and encouragement at this support

Child and Youth Counseling Service
Child
and Youth Counseling Service is a free and confidential Service
providing a specialist sexual assault counseling service for children
and youth aged between 0 to 18 and their families. The service is
available in the Wide Bay region. An outreach service is available
to the Tiaro and Woocoo shires that is able to provide in addition to
sexual assault counseling, counseling and support for children and
families at risk of , or affected by abuse. For more information
