What is Rhema FM?

The first Radio Rhema station began in a backyard studio in New Zealand in 1978, and since that time a network of stations has spread across New Zealand. Rhema has more recently come to Australia and there are now more than 30 stations. Rhema FM Wide Bay broadcasts primarily to Hervey Bay, Fraser Island, Maryborough and the surrounding district. We are a local station with a local flavour, yet maintain an interest in national and world events. The word Rhema is Greek for "the spoken inspired word of God", which reflects the station's Christian perspective.
