Blood Donors Needed on the Fraser Coast

The Red Cross Blood Service desperately needs more people to donate immediately. The Hervey Bay and Maryborough Donor Centres need 240 donors at this time due to the devestation of floods and Cyclones. Blood Service said that blood stocks drop dramatically after the initial situation, but the need for blood never stops. This is the time to make that one-off donation if you are not a regular donor. One in three Australians will need blood at some time in their life, but only one in 30 of us donate” One hour of your time donating blood, could mean a life-time to the person who receives it.
